The Results Are In: Your Favorite Super Bowl Ads

If you stuck around through last night’s massacre of the Denver Broncos (8) by the Seattle Seahawks (43), the one consolation to witnessing a defeat that tied for third worst blowout in Super Bowl history was seeing some of the best commercials of the year. After the game, we asked you to vote for your favorite Super Bowl ads and the brands behind them. Check out the top 5 winners below.

  1. Radio Shack – “The Phone Call” 30%
  2. Budweiser – “Puppy Love” 17%
  3. Budweiser – “Coming Home” 11%
  4. Maserati – “Strike” 8%
  5. Chevrolet Silverado – “Romance” 7%

Budweiser was the runaway winner in the pre-game poll with 36% of voters expecting a stellar performance from the beer brand prior to the game. Bud didn’t disappoint, taking nearly 28% of post-game votes between their two spots. However it was Radio Shack‘s self-deprecating humor that resonated best with audiences after the game, or perhaps it was simply the blast from our 80’s past.

Missing from this list? Bud Light with its much anticipated “Epic Nights” two-part spot featuring big names like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Don Cheadle and of course, Lilly the Llama. Think the ‘epic’ spot belongs in the top 5? Let us know in the Comments, along with any other brands you feel have been slighted.
