Oh, Valentine’s Day! The one day of the year it seems like everyone is cuddling up to that special someone or, in this case, a box of chocolate. So no matter if you’re spending the holiday with your better half or a half-bottle of wine, don’t forget to take some time to spread a little love in your life —perhaps with a box of Whitman’s?

FUN FACT: Whitman’s, established by a 19-year-old Stephen Whitman in 1842, became one of the best-selling candy companies to maintain a longstanding tradition of supporting American servicemen during wartime. During World War II,  the women who worked Whitman’s production line would slip little hand-written notes of encouragement into boxes sent to servicemen around the world.
