The very definition of timeless, this ad has played over and over again for decades and still evokes that happy feeling you get when you take the wrapper off a Hershey’s Kiss. Somehow even more fun when the foil is done in Christmas colors. Enjoy this classic.
Anyone know definitively the year this ad first came out? Let us know…

26 Nov, 2013 - 21:11 pmI don’t know when this ad came out, probably before I was born! But I love seeing it every single year. I love that some things never change.

28 Dec, 2014 - 22:04 pmI have looked forward to this commercial for the last 8yrs. In 2006 we got a dog in April and his 1st Christmas with us, while listening and watching this commercial he barked through it every time. It became a Christmas tradition. It just so happen when we got him he already had a name ( Hershel Red) shortend Hershey. He passed away this past yr from a heart tumor before Christmas. When this commercial came on the TV my kids and I began to cry. We miss him so much, but have this to remind us of him. I hope this commercial continues to be played every year. We now have a new puppy, who does not pay it no attention. Thank you for the memories….

12 Nov, 2015 - 04:32 amI believe it was in the 1980s. My Oldest Child loved this commercial when he was a baby. We had to make a videotape that played this commercial over and over. Even today when he sees it he smiles and laughs at the same parts he did all those years ago. It is truly timeless.

14 Nov, 2015 - 19:43 pmHershey’s really go their monies worth when they did this commercial. I wonder if the pay the people involved in this comercial every year they play it or just own the rights and save on not having to make any newer comercials?

18 Nov, 2015 - 21:35 pmThe people who make commercials only get paid once, unless there are different terms negotiated between the agency and the client.

15 Dec, 2015 - 15:51 pmI heard somewhere that the Hershey Company actually uses the money they save each year by not having to develop a new commercial to allocate towards holiday bonuses for their employees! Not sure if it’s true or not but if it IS I think that’s an AWESOME business practice!

05 Dec, 2015 - 08:22 amThis is my Mom’s favorite holiday commercial. I remember seeing it as a kid, and my mom would laugh every time at that last kiss saying “WHEW!”
