In its heyday, Vegas was not just about fun and irreverence, but celebrities as well. This was one of a series The Sands hotel ran in the 60s, featuring celebrities like Danny Thomas (featured above), Jerry Lewis, and Frank Sinatra. While the glitz and glamour of the city might not come across in this ad, the message “Get off your burro” is a nice way to show that anything goes in Vegas. It’s all about being able to relax, joke around, and have a good time.
