New York has been thrilling people of all ages for as long as we can remember. This 1966 advertisement shows a young boy’s excitement at traveling with United Airlines and his astonishment when taking in the view from the Statue of Liberty. What may today have been told in sentimental, cinematic fashion was captured perfectly with humor in this ad – a kid discovering a love of travel from a kid’s perspective.
