It’s one of Mascola Group’s favorite days of the year — opening day for our legacy client, The Big E! Whether you see it as summer’s last hurrah or the official start of fall, the largest fair on the East Coast truly offers something for everyone.
So in honor of the exciting entertainment, the friendly animals, the thrilling rides, and of course, the classic Cream Puff, we’re taking a look at this retro ad from 1972 — which tells us exactly that. With its growing roster of events, The Big E offered “More For You in ’72.” With a decidedly up-to-date cow leading the way, this ad not only promotes the new fun in store but retains the fair’s roots that started it all — agriculture (albeit with a good dose of 70’s swagger).
