Retro Ad of the Week: Hilton Hotels, 1950s

Hawaii is the first place that comes to my mind when I think of a tropical and luxurious vacation. This Hilton Hotel ad shows the adventure that waits in Waikiki for young and old alike. This ad is rather convincing that the islands are the place to be with so many activities! Vacationers can partake in warm weather activities such as surfing and water skiing. Plus, there are numerous cultural festivities like attending Luaus or watching tradition Polynesian dances!

Just looking at this advertisement gives me the feeling of being on a luxurious vacation in Waikiki. The Hilton Hotels really showcased the island lifestyle in a way that would attract adults, singles, and families! Tropical vacation? Count me in!
