‘Tis the season for delicious food, and at a time when hosts and guests alike are thinking about the big holiday feast and decadent desserts, poor hors d’oeuvres get left in the dust. Which is in part why I love this tribute to cheese from America’s Dairy Farmers (now rebranded as Dairy Good) from 2007. Who could forget this adorable – and ingenious – little redhead and her perfectly delivered line?

I can still hear my mother laughing herself into tears every time this commercial aired, and she never fails to mention the famous “Santa Cheese Ad” every holiday season. So here’s to the overlooked and under-appreciated holiday cheese plate. Want to get some wonderful gifts this season? Just leave them cheese!
