Seasonal advertising is a great way for a brand to promote its products or services in a timely and relevant manner to consumers. However, getting that timing and messaging (including visuals) right are key, as they can determine how successful (or unsuccessful) the seasonal campaign is. This ad for Willys-Overland from 1920 does a great job of showcasing the merits of their sedan, in the context of a family out for a drive on a crisp fall day.
FUN FACT: Willys-Overland Motors is probably best known for its Willys MB – the small, four-wheel drive utility vehicles known today as “Jeeps”.
