Mascola takes Manhattan.
On September 24th, Mascola Advertising and Xpresso PR employees headed into the City to attend the many seminars and panel discussions offered during Advertising Week. Attendees heard from a range of people in the industry, including executives for some of the world’s most well-known brands. The panels discussed such topics as social media, advertising to women, universal truth in international marketing, social responsibility and multicultural media.
But seminars were only part of the learning experience for Mascola Group. Employees were divided into groups and given “affluence assignments,” for which they were required to “shop” for affluent clothing, handbags and shoes, analyze high-end hotel lobbies and luggage, and compare the reactions of store personnel to a shopper who is fashionably dressed as opposed to one who dresses downscale. The results are very interesting, and we are gradually updating our blog with tales from these experiments. Stay tuned.
