Mascola Group gives marketing advice to local nonprofits at the New Haven Citywide Youth Coalition Summer Summit.
Too many nonprofit organizations think of themselves as just small, not-for-profit causes, and not enough think of themselves as “brands,” each with distinct, unique features and goals. On Wednesday, March 25, Xpresso PR Account Manager, Greg Davis presented Mascola Group’s thoughts on nonprofit marketing and branding to an audience of nonprofit directors at the 6th Annual New Haven Citywide Youth Coalition (CWYC) Summer Summit.
Davis’s presentation included tips on how to properly establish brand identity, PR ideas, and an open forum to address each organization’s specific marketing challenges. The event, held at Gateway Community College’s Long Wharf Campus in New Haven, was positively received by all who attended.
“It truly feels good to have the opportunity to give back to so many youth-focused nonprofits here in the Elm City through a program such as the CWYC’s, and I was honored to have a part in it,” said Davis.
The New Haven CWYC is a network of over forty youth-serving agencies and resource people working to enhance the lives of New Haven’s children, youth and their families. For more information on CWYC, visit www.cwyc.org
