Luxury – coming to a theater near you.
Despite the ailing economy, a Village Roadshow Gold Class Cinema opened in South Barrington, just outside of Chicago. Already popular throughout Australia, the Gold Class Cinema features an upscale lobby, ultra-comfortable reclining chairs, valet parking and a broad selection of fine wines, draft beers and gourmet food.
With a ticket price of $35, these theaters are aimed at high-income households, and will be popping up in well-heeled suburbs across the country.
